Probably be a few kilos heavier than the 996TT, so expect around 1550 kg unloaded I guess.

I stil reckon the biggest single improvement would be to reduce the weight by 150 kg. This would help it more than adding power.

The main difference seems to be exhausts exiting through the bumper, which I saw predicted more than a year ago, and the rear wing is wider, by a couple of inches each side, with a bit more droop at the ends.

I'm not sure if it is a little wider of not, but if it gets any wider than the 996TT, it becomes a bit awkward for parking, width restrictions, and country lanes.

another website says...

Official details will be released in the spring, when it will go on sale at an estimated £90,000 or so.

Caught out on cold-weather testing in icy conditions, this Turbo shows its distinct air intakes, wider rear end and unique rear bumper and spoiler. Underneath that broad black bodyshell are substantial modifications to airflow and aerodynamics, to aid high-speed stability and downforce. It's thought to have a new four-wheel drive system, with torque directed to the individual wheel with the most grip.

The Carrera's 3.8-litre flat-six engine produces up to 480bhp/460 lb ft of torque and a near-200mph top speed. Acceleration 0-60mph is estimated to be in the region of under four seconds. A six-speed manual transmission will be standard, but a DSG-style sequential-shift "˜box may be an option.
