997 Turbo Rear Spoiler retrofit to 997 Gen 2 C2S

Hi Guys,
I was looking at a 997 Turbo at the local Porsche dealership the other day and really liked the look of the Turbo rear spoiler and was wondering if anyone has actually fitted one to a 997 Gen 2 C2S, that's if its possible and what's required etc ?
regards

Pete

I like how the Turbo spoiler looks as part of the whole Turbo look from the front end through to the side 'nostrils' through to the rear spoiler. The rear spoiler alone on a C2 would look a bit incomplete imho. Given that it rises on 2 (hydraulic?) rams rather than the hinged C2 spoiler there might be some electrical changes to make in addition to changing the engine cover.

Thanks for your update and the changes required I think I will forget that mod now, just for info to other club members I did speak to the local Porsche dealer and they said they could replace the rear spoiler but you would have to replace the front spoiler as well due to the affect on the aerodynamics of the car ? Not sure I agree with all that as I am sure many club members have changed their rear spoilers over time from the factory fit but food for thought ?
