Evening All,
Bit of advice needed, I currently have a 996 Turbo Cabriolet and have been looking to trade up to a 997 gen and have an option to buy a 997 Turbo S Cabriolet with fairly low miles. Just need some thoughts from those that have experienced the Turbo S and things that I need to be aware of.
Thanks in advance,
Mark

I had a 996 Turbo and moved to a 997 Turbo nearly 10 years ago. You won't regret the change.

My car is a Gen1 but I know a lot of people who have/have had the Gen2 , base and S, and they've all loved them. As always service history and current condition of consumables are key. The only issues I've ever heard of tend to be mileage related - eg. turbos replaced at c100k miles. Everything should be a in better condition than your current car. if that's the case ........ Go for it and Enjoy.(y)

Unsure whether to stick with Turbo or maybe a naturally aspirated 997, GTS probably. Main reason would be that I sometimes feel that my 996 is too fast for the road, by the time you get the revs up you are breaking the speed limit and running out of road, and obviously a 997 is even quicker ! 🤭
