Below +7 °C, the tyre compound of a typical ‘summer’ tyre begins to harden and braking distances are increased. Porsche recommends the use of ‘N’-rated ‘winter’ tyres below this temperature to ensure continued driving pleasure throughout the colder months.
The benefits of winter tyres include:
• braking distances are shorter compared with summer tyres;
• traction is increased on slippery surfaces;
• your vehicle will continue to provide the high standards of driving safety for which Porsche is renowned;
• the tyres have been optimised to produce less noise, rolling resistance is reduced and fuel economy is improved
These tyres are designed exclusively for Porsche vehicles and meet high standards for driving stability, comfort and fuel consumption. They also offer optimum compatibility with the functions of Porsche chassis control systems, with no risk of damage to components or wheel clearance problems. They also meet Porsche requirements for durability and stability at high speed.

Front - 8.5 J x 19 ET 56 x 2 - fitted with 235/35 R 19 85V Pirelli Sottozero Winter Tyres.
Rear - 11 J x 19 ET 51 x 2 - fitted with 295/30 R 19 100V XL Pirelli Sottozero Winter Tyres
The set comes complete with TPM sensors and nitrogen fill.
I've only used them once and they've done less than 2k miles. They are Porsche supplied and cost £3,900, but I will accept £2,100. Buyer collects.
Sorry, I don't have photographs of the actual wheels as they're in store at Exeter PC, but they're as new and as per the above pattern.
I no longer have a 997 Turbo to fit them on! [

Please note these are Centre-Lock and will not therefore fit 5 bolt fixing hubs.
