My 2005 997 C2S which had from new has water under the mat in the front passengers foot well anyone had the same problem as local garge cleared out the windscreen drains but still soaking????

did the garage take the carpet out and dry it ? if not then it takes ages for that area to dry out.

had this in a Boxster and after many investigations it turned out to be coming from a roof seal which had got pinched/folded. obviously if your car is a Coupe then this can't be your problem..but maybe the seal around the door window ? had this on old Porsches but never on one as young as yours.

Had a 2004 997C2S with the same moisture/water issue in the footwell on both sides. Apparently the water came from the window seals which I had to have replaced as well as the water door membranes which protects the electrical window motor, etc. - An expensive job which was not covered under warranty when I had it done in 2008. I took the carpets out and dried them in the heating cabinet and installed a dehumidifier in the car for several hours which took the remaining water out of the carpet lining at the bottom of each door. That did the trick with the replacement of seals as well and it remained dry thereafter.
