I took the 997s out for a few laps at bedford on saturday --
I had a Carrera 4 996 facelift model for a year and took that on the track also
I had the PSM off and the Sport mode on -- for a road car it handled well ,it was predictable
and oversteered in a controllable manner - the brakes felt good and did not fade
I overtook 2 GT3s and a 996 --
Its a good car and even better on the road -- + its a lot better than the 996 !
and yes I did try and get the lap timer working but spent too much time watching the screen
rather than the road
PS -- before I took the C2s round I was in my GT3 RS on slicks so the car got a proper hammering !
