997s going to Le Mans?

Hi

I am booked to go to Le Mans with friends, some with Porsches'. I am the only PCGB member in my group and would like to venture over to the PCGB area to have a look at the set up etc. I am happy to contribute towards the club for the privieage, if necessary.

James, I'm going this year and looking forward to it. [:)]

A couple of years ago we had some friends come and visit us on the curves, we met them on the gate so no awkwards questions.
Bob is the man to ask(or post the question in the Lemans area of this forum), but I'd like to think a show of your club membership card would grant you access to the bar at least. [;)]

Thanks for the quick response Gary. I look forward to seeing you and others there. I will be sporting my membership card and the car will have the PCGB sticker. Could be good for the Club if I can get my 4 friends to join up as a result of my visit. Safe trip................. in your Turbo!

This will be my first time at Le Mans and I am looking forward to it, albeit I have not slept in a tent for many years so I am not so sure about the camping side of it! Everyone assures me the PCGB campsite is very good so I guess my concerns will turn out to be unfounded.

I am scheduled to be on the 10.20 EuroTunnel on Thursday 11th June, anyone else travelling at a similar time?

Doing it a bit different this year, going with some mates from up't north, thus mean I'm on the Hull overnight Ferry [;)]
We're taking the long way down to hope to arrive late Thursday afternoon and make the most of the roadtrip- obviously it depends somewhat on the weather..
May not even be in my car [:(] but possibly a 996GT2 and a fellow Fiat 348 owner...

Having the red peril with us should mean I'll be easy to find on the site... [:)]

Leaving on Monday back for home but not doing the disco and BBQ
Not too sure I want the weather this hot!! I know I should be glad but there is just no shade in a tent!!
