After 3 track days canvas showing on nearside front tyre on rim but lots of tread on tire. Run on track with increased pressure as per Michelin reccommendations.

Total mileage 5000

Any views on tyre wear expectation or track pressures would be welcome

Not too surprising. One track day can be equivalent to 1000 miles of road use.

Outside edge of NSF front does take a lot of the strain, especially when the car is understeering on r/h corners.

should be reducing tyre pressure, measure the pressure when tyres are hot need about 32 most cars from OPC services see to have as much as 50.Have done 8 track days and 2 summers driving on my cups and are still good

did the ring and spa with PSM on, it would appear that the new cars are heavy on the outside edges (run 2.0bar pressure) never had outside tyre wear as bad as that in 15years of trackdays and racing. apparently the PSM on 997s will when driven sportingly lean on the outside edges
