We took along a 2004 997S to Snetterton on Sunday to compete in the "Sports Coupe'" class at 2006 Milltek Tuner GP. The car was a Weltmeister Silverstone entered car with a TTP 450ps twin turbo kit installed. It had 2nd generation PCCB brakes, 19" wheels on standard Michelin Pilot Sports [not Cups] and it had KW suspension. Our biggest competition came from a 997 Turbo entered by Evo magazine and driven by Jethro Bovingdon & Richard Meaden.

We beat the 997TT [on Michelin Cups] by around 0.75 secs per lap in the end. So I suppose if we had been really pushed and had Michelin Cups on our car it could have been as much as 2 secs per lap but that just speculation.

Cheers
