997tt clutch

clutch on my car, very stiff when first starting car,but ok after starting , opc at hatfield said this is normal, anyone else had this problem
car going back to opc to have fuel gauge re-calibrated

My clutch on my 997TT is the same hot or cold and is not very heavy

Chris, the only difference I could say about the clutch from cold to warm is feels sharper when cold/first thing, this could obviously be down to the driver being cold []...

Its certainly seems no stiffer when starting... as per Bobs comment, it is in fact quite light at all times

I was told that the clutch is servo assisted, which would explain a stiffer clutch prior to starting the engine.

It is indeed a servo assisted clutch, which is why it's lighter when the engine is on
