997TT v 993TT Autocar vid.

Hi Paul,

Watched the video and have to say I'm with you on the swap thing, newer, faster, more aero dynamic"¦Yes, but better? I don't necessarily think so!

My car was first registered on the 911 HUL plate back in 1993. [:)]

Nice video, and its also nice to see them post there 0-60 time of 3.7, rather than porsche's conservative figures.

I sold my 993 turbo June 2007 and bought my 996 turbo and wish I hadn't. Now waiting for GTR due in beginning 2010 and wondering if this is another mistake! Does everything just get worse over time?

Nice vid - A little brave giving it to a journo?

The 993 still cuts it in the beauty stakes - Nothing - Nothing comes close to the sculptured work of art called a 'spoiler'

Sorry, off to wipe dribbles..............

Yep.So far as I can see (and being 68 I maybe cant see as far as some people) you have the onset of Dementia. You might just be able to rectify matters by
(a) banging your head hard against a wall, twice, and
(b) purchasing another 993 turbo ASAP

I shall make no charge for this advice.

I would have been nervous had it been Mr Clarkson et al, but I was quite impressed by the way Steve Sutcliffe drove my car quickly, but not unreasonably, thru' the corners. He showed himself to be a 'cut above' most journos....which was nice.....

Do you think Reading would be able (willing) to supply a list of recipients of 911HUL - I reckon that could be a fascinating list...

Check out the thread I started entitled '911 HUL' on Gen Discussion area. It's gathering pace with knowledge shared and may lead to some real enlightening facts in the future ....lets see ?

Paul, have to say : I would trade my 996 turbo for your 993 turbo but I wouldnt for a 997.

Stupid ? perhaps.. but I love my 996 and have already few trips and memories with it. Love the thing.

But 993s are beautifull, yours is a wonder.

997 in the other hand is just a bit better than mine

Yours is different. Gorgeous :)

Thanks Goncalo, I don't think I will be changing for some time to come.
By the way, I love Lapis blue, at least it has personality!
