OK, so we eagerly await the DSG equipped Gen 2; a 997 facelift.

But does anyone know anything about the 998. Given current poor residuals, it perhaps makes sense to delay a while if the 998 is coming hot on the heels of the Gen 2.

Anyone know anything??????

You know Porsche by now Derek. they play their cards very close to their chest, but are also creatures of habit, so 996 launched 1997, facelift 2001, 997 2004.................. 997 launched 2004 facelift 2008, 998 2011. Although because of tougher world trading I think 2010!
Only time will tell!!!
