I'm looking for a condenser (part number 911 573 05603) for my 1985 Carerra 3.2 It sits under the front bumber protected by a guard. The existing one has a leak and given that it is thin aluminium tube, is ectremely difficult to fix
Any suggestions where I might find one, given that I'm told these are no longer available from Porsche

There is a company called autokool which seems to have some in the UK. I, however, am looking for a rear condenser so they were not able to help me. Does anyone know where I might get hold of a rear condenser without paying the £500+ that my OPC suggests is required for one from Porsche or importing one from the US?

Many thanks in advance.

A lot of the americans fit one that relocates the rear condensor to underneath the car. This works much much better than the stock unit supposedly.

Autokool have just done my 944 turbo and done a fantastic job new condensor fitted regassed and checked for £350 It has highlited a fault with the clutch on the compressor but once this is replaced then I will be Ice cool aircon on my car Contact Chris at Autokool he's very helpfull and will not put you wrong even if you want to do it yourself . take a look at my previous request for a link Paul Smith has placed for Aircon parts see if this is helpfull
