Assuming your system is funcioning and just needs a service then there are plenty of A/C specialists around. The one I used last time cost me £60 for a regas with flourescent dye and the 30min vacuum leak check. Your car will probably need converting to R34A as the older gas is now illegal (or soon to be made illegal) but the conversion doesn't cost that much (circa £50 IIRC, maybe even less). I can second Riversides recommendation of Zentrum as i'm sure Mike being Mike will give the system a good check over as it hasn't been used for a long time.

If you have a friend in Beds, Bucks or Herts then I would recommend www.airconone.co.uk

He is mobile and only covers those areas but has looked after my aircon for the past five years with no problem. He uses a legal R12 compatible gas that needs no conversion and really does work. He's normally around £70 for a simple service and regas but comes down to around £50 if you can line up a couple of cars. Mine will need doing when it comes back from repair but the friends driveway I use in Bedford has moved [8|]

I've only used him for a service and regas but he was very well recommended on Titanic a few years ago and I am pretty sure one of those was a complete repair. Best give him a call to double check - mention the Porsche Internet list etc
