A Call For Support - Please!

Hi all,
I'm another newbi to the forum, but a long time member of the club.

I have recently recieved the happy news that my 1966 911 has been selected as one of the 30 top cars in this years "Classic Car of The Year" awards.

The 30 are wittled down to a final 5 by a public internet vote (which is where the call for support comes in!), and the winner is chosen from those five at the NEC Classic Car Show in November.

Surprisingly it's the only Porsche on the list, so I hope I might be able to persuade you, the good people of our club, to make a vote!

Is quite quick and easy, you just have to go to www.ccoty.co.uk and follow the link to "vote now", the order of the list keeps changing but scroll down and you should find my Polo Red 911 "GVB 911D".

The car (and I) will be at Castle Headingham this weekend for Classics at the Castle, if your there too, it would be great to say hi!

Thanks-very much,
Rob.

Being used in anger is pretty much what it's always done.

I had a great race in it at the Oulton Gold Cup a couple of weeks ago, battling with "Project 50" and John Shaw in his beauitful Blood Orange car. having said that, it was the first competative outing since the Crystal Palace Sprint in 2011, so perhaps the events are getting a bit fewer and further between!

Looks like the weather is planning to be kind to us tomorrow!

Hope to see you there!
