I am in the process of writing a book about the 996 - something a bit more comprehensive than the Driver's Handbook - due for publication later this Autumn.
I can photograph most things on my car, but from time to time there will be one or two pictures I need, and would be grateful if some of you out there could help.
The pictures need to be taken in daylight if possible, and need to be a minimum of 2048x1536 pixels, with a resolution of 300dpi. Most modern compact digital cameras can cope with this.
First up is a photo of the clutch fluid reservoir on a manual transmission Turbo model. Most of you may not even know of it's existence, but it is very easy to get at. You need a Torx T20 driver or bit, to remove the single screw holding the panel, and underneath you will see the reservoir with a green top. The diagram below shows where it is located. (item 2, under cover A)
Rather than getting a flood of photos, and loads of people dashing for their cameras, [] [] please would you reply to this thread, and let me know if you are able to do it in the next couple of days. The best email to use for me is richard996 <at> gmail d0t c0m
Thanks
