A couple of niggles.

The car is back in for correction of the paint as it had started to micro blister, before taking it in I had noticed that when going over bumps I get a loud knock from the rear of the car (seems central) Also I noticed with the car stationary and increasing the rev's (approx 3k) the gear lever was starting to vibrate and vibration could also be felt through the seat base.

Does anyone think these niggles are possibly related ?

Does it get harder to change gear when youre going around a corner? A worn gearbox mount isn't uncommon. Front and rear mechanisms wear too, although neither are expensive.

That's a good question, I'm not sure about round corners as I have hardly driven the car for eight months but 1st does seem difficult to engage. The lever was replaced a few years back along with a short shift at the rear. The gear box mount could be a good shout as the noise is quite central.
