A Dilema

All,

Some advice if you please.....

I have just acepted a new job in New York and will be moving before Xmas. My car 997.2 C2S is 2 years old on the 2nd Sept and I have an option to sell it to Porsche tomorrow. If I sell I need to hire/lease a car for 3 months at a cost of 450 per month for a Ford Focus.

Does anyone know of anyone who may want the 911? Does anyone have a link into a cheaper source of short term hire or lease? Does anyone have an opinion?

Thx,

Darren.

There was a site that dealt with lease swapping, ie people who wanted to get out of a lease early so you may find something that has a few months to run. Flexxilease deal with short term leases. If the price is good from the OPC then cash in your chips.
I would also contact Mark from Stirlings (he sponsors 911uk.com), he is a cracking bloke and will give you an honest opinion. Other independants that may be worth a call are 911 virgin, JZM and Paragon.
Good luck with the car and NY [:)]

Swap-a-lease. Both 'vendor' and 'purchaser' pay a one-month rental fee to the host site. I've not heard any reports about the service but it does a appear that very few transfers take place. There was a 996 Turbo that changed hands recently for around £700 a month which was very reasonable. [8|]
