Having owned a 1987 model carrera 11 yrs ago I'm thinking of buying another one to keep for just a few miles a year but keep my 997s. Having not driven one on many years I'm looking for an owner Essex based ( I'm in Brentwood) to take me for a test spin and let me also have a drive and in return u are welcome to try out my 997s. Cheers

i hsd a 3.3 turbo targa a few years back but i wanna drive another aircooled first to see if i cud live with one again. i dont wanna waste anyones time which is why im saying have a drive of my 997 as well

maybe too far! There must be someone that wud let me have a drive in thier aircooled 911 for a spin in my 997s????

im almost prepared to pay for a drive in a aircooled 911...can it really be that hard to get a drive from a fellow club member in a Porsche in exchange for a blast in mine!!!!!!!

Chill dude, you only posted this yesterday. I know its hard to believe but some people don't go online on a daily basis ;)

David,

I'm in Essex and would be happy to help. I'm moving house this weekend so it may have to wait a few weeks though. Is that OK?

Thanks,

Les.

Les you are a real superstar and clearly a lovely man. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. The red targa looks beautifull. Im very close to brentwood by the way
