The first one is of a hillclimb which are quite popular in the UK I understand. Paul has already linked some footage of the Ninemeister guys doing some nice work on Rennlist. The last 2 links are more of a shakedown at our main circuit in Sydney, Eastern Creek. This was originally designed for motorcycles and has a number of off camber corners which ensure you have to have patience around there. I was sorting some suspension & brake settings out and playing with the new performance box. A neat little invention from the UK. 300 pounds I think. Worth it if you go to the track quite often, but gives you a number of reads on your car. Good value in my book.
Anyway I wasn't going too fast as you'll see, but the GT3's look so damned poised nonetheless.
Well for a few reasons I have a new project in the offing which will give the GT3's and 2's some hurry up so this will take me some time until I get back on the track so I will have to wistfully look at these images to remind me of the fun I'm missing out on while you guys are off galavanting aroung Spa, and the Ring etc...Lucky bastards!!!
PS, Time for some of you other guys to start downloading some footage too!!!

Wow that track was nice and empty, and no-one in the pits either.

I like your camera position it gives a good angle to see out the front without glare and you can also see the steering inputs - I must try that

Well there were quite a few more cars out there earlier in the day when we all first got there. Unfortunately due to my catchcan overflowing, I had to go all the way back to the workshop to fix it (50 miles) and then all the way back and by the time I got back and did those 4 laps that you see, almost everyone else had left by then. It was a bummer on many counts, not the least that there were 6 pro race drivers there that you could get tuition from and I had no time to do any of this. Hey I even missed out on lunch that I paid for too. [] It was a long and unrewarding day I can tell you Paul...let me tell you I'm not kidding on that front either.[][]

You can all giggle at my ineptitude at a recent Rockingham track day:

and laugh out loud at the spin:

It actually looks more like a US circuit to me. Fun though and that's what we're all doing this for no matter how much pain seems to be involved. lol
