na shes not that good lol. would drive me nuts as there are a few chips and bits that im not willing to paint as I want to keep her origional as possible. but the old gir might have a wee go next year. Plus I like driving her too much to worry about having another car that needs the floor waxed as much as the bodywork.

Hi Guys

I need to get the wheels refurbished on my '98 Boxster, one has been lightly curbed, the others have small marks but nothing serious. I'd prefer a mobile job if possible, but failing that would be happy to leave the car for a day or so. Thought about doing them myself but not convinced my prep would be good enough.

Cheers

Geoff

Hi Geoff
There is no such thing as getting them done "in an hour" you are going to have the car off the road for at least 3 days...

i got mine done a few years ago with these fellas One was badly bent and the rest were scuffed and scored .. http://www.a27engineering.co.uk/

Even now 4 years later they are still superb...

A27 do all our wheels as well great guys and very very good at what they do. plus they have a big yard and you can leave the car with them but trust me dont get a mobile or "quick" job done as it is going to be pathetic and nasty they done even take the tyre off and I have seen ones do it with the wheel still on the car the paint over wheel weights dirt tar etc etc.. Had a BMW in that has a mobile repair done on a 1 series and they painted over a lump of chewing gum stuck to the wheel. I have the pic to show it lol! Give David a call he is great.
