Hi Paul here!

Apologies for the direct message, however I think I know you all well enough that you won't mind me taking two minutes of your time for a good cause which is supporting my good friends, Grant Ferguson and Sarah Cunningham's daughter Karis. They have set-up a fundraising appeal called 'SDR4Karis' to help them raise the required £45K to get Karis get to USA for a life-changing operation and as some of you are local you maybe already helping or know of other ways you can help.

Karis has Cerebral Palsy and needs to undergo a specialist procedure called SDR (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy). This operation is not available in the UK on the NHS, and having it will help her to lead a more normal life and allow her to overcome some of the routine daily difficulties she has to deal, which we all take for granted.

Anyway even though I am just recovering from a broken collar bone I have agreed to get my lazy ass onto a bike and do 65miles round the Lochs and the Trossachs for SDR4Karis.

If you have other charities and donate elsewhere then I fully understand if you decide it's not for you, however if you can even spare a pound it will help me get to my target of £1000 hopefully.

To donate and find out more then please follow the link below.

If you have donated already then many thanks for your donations, it's much appreciated as my training starts this week.

Thanks
Inky

A worthy cause - have been speaking to someone about about raising some funds for this, couple of things in minda which will happen May. cu morning,

I would quite happily give up time, effort, money to this cause>i'm not really sure how it works as I have only just joined the club but can we not arrange some sort of fund raising event for this.

Would also like to help out in some way as I know Grant and Sarah through Greigs forum days and have been to a few events with them prior to then having the baby .Had no idea there daughter was ill .
