Just a note about our car. Ten years old in Jan.2011. And owned by us since May 2002. It's a terrific car and had no major problems . Mileage just 75k and plenty of life left in her yet. We like to have it dealer maintained and use Porsche Sutton Coldfield. They are great and they retro fitted cruise and computer for us recently and these have been a good addition to the ownership experience. Cost of ownership is a factor for us though and we have also used Sportsandclassic at Knutsford where the labour rate is less but they know their stuff. We can recommend them.

Could do with a larger photo, but it looks good to me.

I'm amazed to hear an OPC retrofitting OBC & Cruise on a 996, but well done to you for getting them to do it.
 
Hi Richard.
They had not done it before and were willing to try it using me as a guinea pig. They did not come out of it too well financially speaking as they agreed a fixed fee with me. Won't share that with you on this forum but I was happy with it. On the other hand there was a bit of learning for them if they came across the job again.
Thanks for the welcome . Not to au fait on the IT bit. I was amazed the picture appeared at all although your guidance on uploading pictures was invaluable. Thanks again. Steve
