A review of Osram Nightbreaker bulbs as promised

I totally forgot until I saw that headlight post that promised to say what I thought of my new Osram Nightbreaker bulbs.

Anyway , on high beam they are superb , light up the road like a christmas tree as they say. On dipped , I would say still pretty cr** average very unimpressive. I am sure that the supposedly inferior Philips Silver Star or whatever they are that I use in my Volvos ar better. I might even swap them and see as it could just be because the 944 headlights are so rubbish. Don't get me wrong they are far better than the bog standard bulbs but I wasn't 'dazzled' by the performance.

In summery if you are going to try an uprated bulb , I'd think about another one and possibly Phillips. I may even swap them over with the Phillips ones in my Volvo if I can be bothered and check the difference.

Cheers
Mas
