A Saturday morning out and lunch

Hi everyone, just wondering if anybody would be interested in this-

I visited the Old Skopos motor museum in Batley last week with a view to organising a visit for us all. The museum however is now closed but is being used for the restoration of various classic cars. The proprietor would be willing to show us round and chat about the various projects.

Also in the workshop is a full size Sopwith Camel that is being constructed from original blueprints by a group of enthusiasts. We would be welcome to look round that and one of the enthusiasts would be available to talk about it and answer questions.

Our ladyfriends could either come with us (unlikely!) or be dropped at a nearby shopping mill outlet for a spot of retail therapy that they seem to enjoy so much!!

After the visit I could organise lunch for us all at a good restaurant that I know in the area.

Thinking of a Saturday before xmas to break the winter up a bit.

If interested please let me know and if there is sufficient demand I will get it sorted.

Hi, Sounds good. I would be interested depending on the date as I have a few things in the diary already up to Christmas.

Put me down, subject to date,

I'm sure Lorraine and Linda will find something to do at Red Brick Mill

I'm new to PCGB and haven't managed any events as yet. I would be interested in this one depending on which Saturday it falls on.

Thanks
