Dear fellow 996ers
A simple tip to enhance your 100 litre luggage space of Carrera. c4 to achieve 130 litres of carrera2 is as follows, particularly worth noting if like us you go to Porsche Parade Europe (Spain) and then onto Le Mans with 4 occupants and yes still somehow mange in a 911 But not without that extra space as detailed below, please note spare wheel removal is required of course as inverted in c4 against upright in c2 as of c4 bulkhead, Dan Fisher senior tech at PCC and Gary Sorrell kindly provided pictures as I forgot how to put it back again 10 years later!

remove partition black lift out boot divider, remove spare wheel and brackets, remove bolted in amplifier and tool kit and air pump, leave amplifier bracket out and refit in situ amplifier on base free standing,.,,,,,,you now have the extra space as your fellow colleagues in a Carrera 2 Please trust me your wife or partner can get all that extra important items in and accompany yo uob the WOTY or whatever trip you are venturing on within PCGb

hope this helps

best regards John McGirl 996Rs
PS Thank you Robin, Richard, Peter and Andy for your messages of goodwill with regard to 996 to 991 upgrade, Andy Willis our 996 Register assistant has been offered the Rs role and for your knowledge and furthermore I am both proud and pleased to advise that Richard Hamilton is kindly still operating the wonderful PCGb web and forum whilst Gary Sorrell and team at PCC Cambridge will continue the 996 Register technical support by email and telephone so the Register will be left to continue without disruption after my natural resignation falling into PCGb moral guidance on vehicle model change for existing. Register secretaries. thanks a million for all your support..........now someone please buy
