Hey guys,

Its the first sunny day there's been in London for a while, so I had a trip out to Kent/Tunbridge Wells area.

The car was nothing but legendary... I love this Car!!!

Heres a few idyllic pictures with my 1990 C2 Targa (I'm no photo editor so theres no edits, just raw photos)..

whereabouts are you?

My friend has been telling me stories of a white 964 with black wheels in the area, but I'm refraining from believing him until I see the other car [;)]

it was a beautiful day indeed!

stunning car!

a 911 speedster and The Docklands.. congrats [;)]

Not quite made it to Canary Wharf yet, Im in Tulse Hill until I get a pay rise (or my insurance goes down [8D])

HAHA

Not quite, I grew up in the worst council estate in Sheffield (therefore I dont know where Aylesbury is lol) so I know where your coming from, but I wasn't under the impression Tulse Hill was Posh lol!

I'm 28 and I only Rent, but yeah I do ok (ish)... Though I'm torn between spending loads of cash on my 911 or saving for a house... Should be a no brainer really[;)]

The property market is still a bit slow with not too many deals about so I would enjoy the car for a bit longer :)

Sound advice :)

notorious eh.. certainly has the credentials (well at least you know where Im coming from)

Dreams certainly come true... I remember seeing 964's all the time as a kid and wanting one soo much (actually I always wanted turbo cos of the wide body and wing, but I cant afford one lol).

Heres my estate (I regularly visit... half the estate wants a ride in my car lol)

Poverty really is a driving force... I spent 4 years at M&S before I put myself through uni, lots went wrong for me before I did, but I new I couldnt go back to that. I think that must be something similar to how your friend feels in his flat!

Its nice to have achieved something coming from poor backgrounds (not that I use cash as a measure), but I still love to go back to my estate. Its worse from the outside looking in, the estate is a close community, but its hard for an outsider!

I was in the roughest pub In the area (and Sheffield) Boxing Day, but to be honest it felt like Home and I knew everyone in there.. Thing is, people are proud of what I've achieved so they're mostly good people (with slightly bad habits lol)

You must be equally proud, but growing up like we did certainly makes you appreciate what you have[:D]

Think we may have gone slightly off topic here (apologies people), but maybe we should go for a drive and a (non alcoholic) drink the next sunny day?

Try Hagerty for your insurance (if you are not already with them) as I found them quite good on price

forgot to mention...

I tried all of the specialist insurers and none came in below £2000, Im with admiral (at least for this year) priced at £1500

Good pics Chris ...... like the second shot best ;)
Sun shone on North Wales yesterday too, for what seems like ages. With all the white stuff gone I to took the oppotunity to take the 964 out for a spin for an hour. Wow these cars are awesome. [:D]

That's a very nice speedster you have there Aldo ;)

Thing is I never listen to my head[&:] (its a problem of mine [:D]), evident by the fact I didn't buy another Diesel

Great Pics. Those wheels really suit the car. (Black centres)

Cheers, I was sold straight away when i bought the car because of the wheels... I love the look!
