A trip to Stuttgart (picture heavy)

Oct

New member
At the beginning of the month a few of us went on a trip to the Porsche museum in Stuttgart. We planned to go via Reims to get some photos at the old Grand Prix circuit then onto Stuttgart for the museum then onto the ring for a couple of days. Pretty much the same route as covered in the PW magazine! We had it planned before the article, honest Guv [:D] Anyway here are a few pictures from the weekend.

If anyone is planning on going to the museum I can really recommend paying the extra for a tour guide. The guy we had was great and really knew his stuff about the cars.He was opening the doors for us to get a proper look and showing us little details which you would miss if you only had the audio tour.
I will stick some more pics up when I get the chance, if you are interested.

Looks supberb, is that Simon Butterworths Lambo ?
Carrera GT looks stunning, i like the pics with the 917's ;-)

Well spotted Frenchy, it is indeed his Lambo. We met him and a few of the guys he was over with and they followed us up to the viewing point at Adenau Forst.I don't think he took it on the track though. It sounded great [:D]
