Now this looks nice!

1 of 3 CS made in that colour, having driven this car on road & track, it goes very well and as involving as any 911 you will ever drive.
A great addition to any Scuderia Porsche, someone is going to have a lot of fun over the coming trackday season [:)]

The advert doesn't mention all the sand and gravel that this car will have acculmulated during it's recent career. [:)]

Cheers,

Hello Des,

That is probably another of its claims to fame - not many cars will have spun on a parade lap.

Going off green Des, even your avatar has changed colour?

Cheers,

Maybe Dentist spec 993RS or 964/RS/Widebody with a 3.8 motor and a few creature comforts, simpler user friendly cage, cd/radio, air etc......if I sell the clubby it will be missed for what it is the ultimate non-compromising track tool.....but have to be realistic.... unforseen circumstances mean a softer option 911....[]

Des,

I find sitting on an inflatable rubber ring does the trick. [:D]

I thought you would never sell. If I had the ready cash I would buy from you today. [:)]

Fair play to you Des.

My 993 RS certainly isn't dentist spec mind. It is full CS spec. I got it back after a year 2 days ago. It was SHOCKINGLY raw having not got in it for a year!! :D LOL.
What about that lovely black 993 RS with the small wings that was for sale not long ago? It looked very pretty, just like Paul's old one.

I guess this explains the even more recent 964RS prices to hit 100k postings on various sites very recently....[;)][:D]

Des - following our conversation this morning re a 'softer option 911' I reckon a Mk1 GT3 would fit the bill very nicely. Could you see yourself driving a kettle though?

Des - bad back forces sale?...hopefully not sub-prime fallout (I assume you still flog overpriced condos to traders wishing to live a mere suicide leap from work)

...or maybe, just maybe, you're fed up with all those boys in their Caterhams nudging you out of the way in the braking area for Paddock and are coming over to the "dark" side? ;-)

I won't reveal his name for obvious reasons, but one of the regular posters on here did contact me a couple of months ago about a Caterham he was interested in buying [:)]...is that the start of a great exodus?....

Mark, I am quite sure he was looking to buy the Caterham as well, who ever he might be [;)]

Get yourself into that mk1 Gt3, you will be a little bored after your 964 & 7 experiences & it won't have the practicality of the AMG,,,good to tick it off the list though [:D]

No words, old fella Mintmeister....

Hope you won´t regret it. Have mine for 16 yrs now, it´s still the real thing. I remember your words when you got it: " It´s like Daddy´s taken off your stabilizers." What a feeling in this ultimate driving machine.

Will have to find a new name then,

AlterFreund mit demPorscheTick

All the best

What's going on Desmond .... never thought you would part company with it? Bad back ..... how about some seat cushions? Forget sub prime ...... Mr Minty selling up is a signal to the classic car market that recession is here.

Hope it is nothing serious Des - best of luck with the sale. Will you go back to a lightweight or something softer?

Regards

Hope all is well Des - cos it seems to me it must be seriously serious for you and her to part company[:'(]

Paul, do you think he might come out of the closet with a little more persuasion ;)

I really did think seriously about the GT3 with a rear seat conversion. Then I bought another house.

And the AMG is great - managed to hold onto this one for more than the 4 days that last one survived for (for those interested, it was stloen and then "parked" in a ditch a scant 4 miles from home). The Cossie was written off by a driving instructor last night though :(

This is a bit of a shock Des.

Not many. Can't believe it. Does explain the £100k posting's but price looks surprisingly reasonable.

Des couldn't possibly go for a GT3 (even though he does acknowledge how good they are) you lot would NEVER EVER EVER stop taking the p1ss.

That said Des - Fancy a swap? [;)]
