Last night I went to Ikea, brave/foolhardy in itself, and purchased a replacement carousel for the kitchen corner unit. And of course it wouldn't fit anywhere in the Boxster! They will not be using a Boxster inplace of the Tardis. Eventually, wet and bedragled but still determined, I moved the seats forward and juggled it in behind (now I know why they have the ability to let the seat flop forward as if some paper thin person could be let in behind the seats). I then spent an enthralling hour on a packed M25 squashed against the wheel. The upside was that I was in and out of Ikea in an amazing 20 minutes and that having gone to the collection point!

We've heard for years and years about the competitions to see how many people you can get in a Mini (original model), and more recently a Smart.

Anyone tried it in a Boxster?

maybe one for the boxster stand at brands. ah Nic???

just makes me think what happens if you have a puncture, if you use the front boot for something you need to find somewhere else to put that stuff if you need to put a wheel in it.

I use it as an excuse to drive the car on my own.......[:D]

EEK!! hadn't thought about that..now you've got me worried[]

It happened to me at Eynsham. Nice screw through one of the rear tyres.

The car was full of camping gear luckily I was on my own. A flat rear wheel and tyre will just fit in the front boot. It has to be on a slant so you can't get anything else that is bulky in with it.

JCB..

happened to me at the airport but thankfully I was on my own so I could get my luggage in.

I feel sorry for people who dont have a boot at the rear as all they have is the front boot which they need for a flat tyre!

I tell you what Helen I will swap your GT3 for my boxster in march so you dont have to worry..........
