ABS Wheelspeed Sensors

Due to the rust on the securing bolts I expected to have problems removing these but with a little help from WD40 these came out quite easily.

However the ABS Wheelspeed sensors will not budge. Does anyone have any hints or tips for non destructive removal.

My ABS warning message appears once the car starts moving so the first step was to check out the sensors.

I have tried pliers, WD40, levering with screwdrivers and a rubber hammer but they refuse to move.

Any 'tricks of the trade' or removal advice welcomed.

The car is a late model 2.7.
