hi all,

over the last couple of days my ABS light has been coming on and then going off intermittently. However, today it has stayed on.
Does anyone have a sort of check schedule that i can undertake to see if this is something simple to correct or is this a job for the specialists.
any ideas welcome....I have currently checked the fuse on row B9 and that seems ok.
Thanks

It needs a diagnostic check ideally, although I suspect it might be a wheel speed sensor. You could check the connectors to the speed sensors, as they often corrode. You could also try changing the brake pedal switch, which is about £12, as they can also be problematic, but without a diagnostic check you are shooting in the dark really.

Thanks Richard, I have my eye on a PIWIS lead and disc. I have been wanting to buy a lead for some time now. I assume this will be ok!
