Access to rear wiper switch

Diesel130

Quick question...

My rear-wiper switch has become detatched from the dash and is hovering loose just behind where it should be. Any recommendations for the best way to get to it so I can push it back - assuming, hopefully, that it has just come unclipped rather than broken?

I was wondering whether removing the air-con control panel would give access to the switches?

Thanks,
Martin.

You just have to unclip the panel containing the 3 switches. Get a butter knife (or similar blunt instrument) under the bottom edge of the switch panel, and lever it away from the dash.

Perfect, thanks for your speedy reply... I'd already checked your book!

Hope the Cayman is going well...

P.S. have just p/ex'd our 10 year old Golf 130 TDI for a nearly new BMW 120d Sport... might have to change to 'Diesel184' now!

I've just bought a 118d for my daughter. £30 a year road tax!! Really nice little car, although I find that all small cars are getting bigger and bigger.
