You heard it here first: Ace is back to work day from 2010.

From 2010 we will be meeting on the last Monday of the month (this was our very original meet day shared as German Performance Cars night)

Saturday was a good trial and saw lots of new faces and families making a pit-stop and convoy from regions all over Britain (during the Summer months) but weekdays is what the enthusiast and regular members (come rain or shine) prefer.

Last Monday has the advantage of having two bank holiday (for those who cannot make workdays) in a year, so pencil down:

31 May Bank holiday Monday as a special Spring event night

and

30 August Bank holiday Monday as our annual summer Ace Cafe BBQ

Mar 29
Apr 26
May 31 (Bank Holiday Monday - Spring Event)
Jun 28
Jul 26
Aug 30 (Bank Holiday Monday - Summer Meet)

Last Monday of the Month - Porsche Night at Ace Cafe (West London, North Circular, NW10 7UD)
BBQ Bank Holiday Mon, 30 Aug 2010 - 6pm onward

Hi all,
Sorry some bad news:

We (Ace Cafe mamagement and I) had to make the call yesterday afternoon about the bbq as they needed to place the order for all the food and contract-out extra staff by yesterday; unfortunately the probability of the weather continuing to be poor into next week is still very high, so we decided against. Note: Ace has never pass on the cost of the bbq and extra staff hire to us...

The good news:

The bank holiday meet goes ahead and we are expecting to fill up the car park but as you all know the high numbers are heavily weather dependent. I'm still expecting the regulars to be there come rain or shine. Those coming for the first time: Ace has enough space indoors to accomodate everyone if it rains... See you on Monday 6pm onwards!

looking forward to tomorrow..first meet and only had the car for 3 weeks...i know it starts at 6 but what time do most people actually arrive, not that im to bothered cause i drive a porsche ,haha

Aiming to get there approx 7 - 7.30pm. Most people get there around that time..

forcast for tomorrow is shocking. On that basis decembers last monday is the 27th which will be a bank holiday. Will this still be a PCGB night?

Yes, Ace is open on bank holidays (guess all big cafes and restaurants are) so the parking space will be available for Porsches as first priority.

See you all tonite! Forecast for tonight says no rain, so be prepared for non-shocking weather [;)]

I assume the same arrangement applies to 2011, i.e. the last Saturday in the month.

As such whos going Monday?
