Yes, it is August... who is up for a repeat drive to Central London from Ace Cafe on the 27th of August?

Last year we had planned to leave at 11pm but most of us were ready to leave by 10pm. Waterloo Bridge is (hopefully not changed since last year) a single yellow line and free to park in the evenings and is empty on a Wednesday night.

Here are some photos from last year (courtesy of Simon Kelly's facebook album)

Think I may be up for that one, did a run in December round London and enjoyed it lots, the tunnels [:D]

Hi Kish, I haven’t been to the Ace Cafe yet, but would like to pop down to see you and some of the members. Only problem is I commute to work by Motorcycle (cheaper than using the Cayenne Turbo), so will I be ok to turn up at around 6:40pm by bike? Regards, Tony.

Hi Tony, Lucky you! Bikers always get a parking slot at Ace... It is the Mecca for bikers first, the car meets are a modern addition [:)] See you tomorrow. Regards, Kish

Kish Never been and have always really wanted to, will be there, what time is the best time to arrive? Regards Alvin

Er......a parking place??[;)] Oh, and new set of slicks would be nice...... 4x4 and trailer can stay on road.....

Excellent meet at Ace and then a fantastic drive to Central London - bit disappointed that the cops didn't chase us off at the London Eye like last time [;)] I'll post some photos soon...

What time did you guys get to the London Eye then? I left the pack on Haymarket to refuel then headed down to the London Eye but must have been too early/late. Was still a good evening though [:)] Alvin, you bought another GT2 yet? [:D] Gavin

We went to the Waterloo Bridge first; didn't get to the Eye until close to Midnight. Sorry, didn't have your number to call you...
