ACE CAFE - LAST MONDAY OF THE MONTH

If you are within shooting distance try and get a long to this, there was a good turn out for the inaugural 'Ace Cafe Porsche Performance Meet'. It's cold so thermals are recommended, The ACE serves food as well as drinks so if you've had a longish journey you won't starve.
'Be there or be square'. For directions look at their website

Well this week there was no power at the ACE cafe. By the time I got there (8pm) there was only BMWs and bikes. Fun though - How about a BMW Alpina 3.5 turbo with nitro? Now waiting for next month and hope for some power at Ace Cafe - Chistmas week I guess

Well this week there was no power at the ACE cafe. By the time I got there (8pm) there was only BMWs and bikes.

[&o]I got there at 9.30, late due to having an MRI Scan first and it was pitch black! Not a single prancing horse to be seen in carpark []I thought I must have misread the night so headed for the hills [&o]

Well, it was the 4th Monday in the month last night, and German Car Night at the Ace. Thanks to Sian and Richard for turning up and hi Rick!!

Problem was that the local electric supply company decided to do some 'urgent work' and shut down the corner of the industrial estate that the Ace was in!!! From 8.30 that morning......since everything, including the soft drinks dispenser works off electric, only bottled drinks and crisps available.......I left at 8pm.

Next time......which according to my Filofax is 27th December......

Rgds

HI Bones, Anyone - er it's the 4th Monday of Jan. There's nothing in the Club Calendar (Porsche Post). So is anyone planning to go or just me!?

Jerry

It appears the 4th Monday has morphed into the 5th for Januarys meeting.

There are a few threads I've seen saying 31st Jan...

31st would work for me.

I know it's a bit of a girly thing to say but, with snow, wet and salt all over the place, I'm going to leave Beaky all snug in his garage tonight.

OK I understand now - it's not the 4th Monday, it is the LAST monday of the month.

See http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/f1spo.htm

Sorry guys can't make it , wouold be too cold for me, next month though I'll be there - like you care - sniff!

Wide awake Melv. Nothing on the 2005 calendar and the thread is all about the 4th Monday err isn't it?!

See you on 31st

Jerry
