ACE CAFE LONDON ON 31st Jan.

Any other 997 owners fancy coming to the ACE Cafe Porsche London Region meet on the 31st of Jan. It's from 6pm onwards, fantasic caff fare and loads of history. I'm the only 997 who goes, there aren't even any 996's. Plenty of other great cars but nothing with that new car smell to mix with the tea and bacon sarnis. It's great fun. CYA.

Check out their website

Kicks off from 6ish.

I'd like to go but I need somewhere to leave the GT3 during the day. Anyone know if you can get a GT3 into the mayfair carpark at hyde park corner without tearing off the front lip.

Thanks

Kevin

Count on a 996 C4S Cab at the Ace cafe evening...see you there

Johnny & Denise and boys

I will try and make this. I have to say, I have found the whole monthly club night thing quite daunting. I have been to two club evenings in Surrey with my previous 996 and found it difficult to integrate, even though everyone has a common interest. I was wondering if anyone else found this to be the case.
And before anyone asks it was not that the Surrey crew were unwelcoming, far from it!
Maybe it's my lack of personality, which my wife tells me is the key reason in her eyes why I need a car like this, because it is, and I quote "the most impractical car you have ever had" and " I will never drive it, ever" bad news for the alloy wheels repair people

Nick,

its always tough to join in a group where everyone else seems old friends.

Just ask the person next to you about their car, we all love to talk about this

Anuway, I plan to be at the Ace on Monday, so ask for me and I will introduce you to everyone I know

With a wife with comments like that we shud get on fine ,i ll be there viagara blue 993 rs , come and say hello we can swap wife jokes !

you'll not the only one.. I've only ever met a few folk from here..... so the Ace will be a good chance to put faces to names to cars.... as most folk prob' think I just exist in cyber space ! [:-]

Vic,

last time i went somebody pulled the plug out,
:ROFLMAO:Yes that was my last disappointing venture to the Ace ... No Porsche until March but may risk it again in my MCS [;)]

You"˜ve convinced me, because with humour like this it should prove an interesting meeting.
Nick

Melv, I told you she will not step into the ruddy thing, too low, bumpy ride, and people look at her. Too flash, and a crap in your face colour.
Do you think it not a good idea for her to come, maybe you all could eduate her in the wise ways of Porsche land?
Nick the sufferer
