Ad Blue

Those who follow the other Macan Forum will have seen quite a discussion re Ad Blue and how to dispense it & where to get it. I have the follow comments to make:

1. Get it from you OPC! The 2L bottle cost less than a tenner and incorporates the dispenser.

2. If you are tempted to save twopence and buy a million litre container for goodness sake don't spill a drop as it is a very good paint stripper.

3. You probably won't need to do it until the oil change light comes on anyway, so why not let the OPC do it whilst you eat all their chocolate biscuits!

I can remember my 'WIWOL' days and we used to spray that stuff on runways to de-ice them [:D]

Note: WIWOL don't ask; I am not that old, honestly [;)]

For the uninitiated WIWOL = When I Was On Lightnings [:D]

Superseded by the term WIWOJ

And yes indeed it was sprayed on the runway to de-ice, but it is very corrosive.
