Adding Cruise control with OBC hack?

Hi all,

Following on from the OBC hack, (Great link. By the way VW still stock the wires!)

I don't have cruise control, so I was wondering on my 2000 model C4 whether I could wire in the cruise control to work and make it worth while fitting the 4 stalk switch ???

Anyone know if the 200 models are cable or electronic throttles ?

If I can't I guess I should get the 3 stalk switch ?

All C4's are fly-by-wire (electronic eGas throttles). If you have a look at www.renntech.org there is a DIY on the Boxster DIY page that gives instructions for cruise retrofit. The pin connections are the same, as both cars use Motronic DME version 7.2.
