Additional runnning cost

After having lost two shields from coloured wheel centres, a third came away when I was washing the Boxster today. I had put down the loss of the other two to souvenir hunters but I take it all back. The glue is obviously not up to the job but at least I still have the shield this time as it has not decided to part company with the wheel in a moment of stress.

Any ideas which product to use to stick it back on again? Superglue? Replacing them with new wheel centres is not a cheap business!

Happy Christmas everyone

Complain to your OPC. I had one where the coloured centre came off and it was replaced while I was there. It happens a lot and as you say they are not cheap. [:)]

[]Sounds to me like that is the problem "They Are Very Cheap!" just not to the end user of course

Silicon rubber sealant/adhesive on well cleaned surfaces should do the trick and also keep the water out.

I'm pleased to say that OPC Cambridge put a new one on yesterday, free of charge., while I waited. No quibble, friendly service and a cup of coffee in their wonderful new showroom. Had a chance to look at the new Boxster as well as I had not been able to go to the launch. I prefer my 03 shape model, both external and internal.

Me too, and I thought I was the only one!

[8D]Old or New design is all a matter of personal opinion, but I can promise you a test drive would help you really love this new/old same look Boxster and the accompanying sound track from the new exhaust system is how the car could and should have sounded from day one. Take a test drive and see what I mean :ROFLMAO:

I was offered a test drive in the South of France last week but didn't have time. I intend to buy one but think I will wait for the new gearbox which I hear will be avaiable later this year.
