Adhesive & Fog light

Has anybody got an easy way to remove the adhesive residue that the balance weights leave on alloy wheels once they have been removed?[]

Also has anybody experienced a failed rear light bulb holder as I have a rear n/s fog light that I cannot get working despite changing the bulb and checking the relevant fuse.[8|]

Cheers

Try :-
Intensive Tar Remover - Autoglym product.
Sticky Stuff remover (citrus based cleanser - Kleeneze sell it plus others)
Lemon juice
Rubbing with a cloth will eventually get it to adhere to the cloth and peel off from the wheel.
If none of these work then sell the wheels![:)]

I think you'll find EU regs only require an O/S rear fog light. So the N/S probably doesn't have the wires.

Only the one foglight is connected.

The only way I've heard of getting both to work is to run a wire between the two.

Thanks for the help, I did wonder about the fog light as to whether it should work but because there was a bulb already in it I assumed it must of worked at some time (doh)

I think the suggestion to sell the wheels is a bit harsh Fred ! (lol)

Now you know where to find a spare bulb if you ever needed one [;)]
