adjustable headlights - or not

Update:
Panic over, as the headlight adjustment controls work okay. The adjustment screws on the headlight rims were the problem - it appears that you need to adjust both to alter the vertical adjustment; undoing the top screw anticlockwise and then undoing the lower screw on the side of the headlamp anticlockwise as well to lower the headlight beam Ah well, live and learn.

Hi
Yes it's that 'how can I sort this one out'. The adjustable headlight controls seem not to work at this moment in time [just as it is MOT time as well!] and are stuck on pointing up into the sky mode whilst in dip-beam. Has anybody any good advice for a quick self-fix. I cannot find any information in the owner's manual and am going to search on-line.I will be checking wiring, fuses, headlamps etc this afternoon to inspect the problem. As ever any suggestions gratefully received.

Many thanks.

Mark
