ADJUSTING HEADLIGHTS

One of the adjusters to switch from LH to RH dip is very stiff. The first one was not great but the second seems not to want to move and I don't want to force it. Is this common or am I being dim. Should it just slide across or is a push down and slide?

All thoughts gratefully received.

normall needs a bit of a fiddle... but never an easy move across the sliders...

well done on joining 993 ownership

Thanks for that. Here is a very (possibly) silly question.

The little lever moves from one side to the other of the bit it is attached to not from side of the unit to the other side of the unit, onto the other similar looking bit? The first is correct I hope.

it is.... and as chops has pointed out all it actually does is flatten the beam so it doesn't rise to glaze the otherside of the wrong driving side cars ! which is what I hve all the time in my lhd car over here....

Thanks for all your feedback.

I tried pushing down and across, just pushing across and finally, with the unit in my lap and upside down, pushing up and across - which worked.
Its a great idea but the execution could have been a tad better I feel. But hey, better than masking the damn things. And I don't think it had ever been used on my car so it was always going to a bit stiff.

Thanks again.
