Adjusting height or rear reflector - any tips or links please

I have just brought a C2 1996 993 and the chap had replaced the rear lights and reflector before i brought it. Unfortunately it is sitting too low in my opinionand this affects the seating of the rear quarter lights.

I have removed the rear quarter lights but am struggling to adjust the height of the reflector.

Any trips or links with pictures would be great.

Thank you.

Elliot, I don't believe there are any adjustments you can make to these. I think that if you could raise the central reflector then the rear/side lights would sit at an angle as there is no vertical movement in the end screw fixing. The result would not be pleasant to look at with diminishing gaps at the vertical side lights/reflector junction as well as top and bottom of the side lights. [][]

If the gaps are parallel then I don't think there is anything to worry about. There is a reasonably large gap between the top of the side light and the trailing edge of the rear wing but you only notice it when your line of vision is at that level.

Okay had time to look at this last weekend and indeed there are no adjustment screws just retaining screws that stop the unit falling backwards.

what was the problem was the 5 screws holding the bumper back to the chassis behind the reflector. these were not aligned prperly hence everything out looked out as a consequence.

Anyway sorted now so thanks Clyde.
