Advanced driving assesments, July meet

Following this months meeting last Wednesday with the Durham IAM branch which went very well [:D] some of their members have very kindly suggested holding some free driver assesments with our members.

What I have suggested is that on July 8th when we have our monthly meeting and the evenings are light, we start early at 6.30pm and a couple of IAM members are willing to take us out in our own cars for half hour runs and give us advice and assess our driving.
This is regardless of whether or not we are thinking of joining the IAM or not as I know a few of us are [;)]

Also I have been approached by one of the IAM members who has suggested doing some performance road driving tuition (again no fee) with those of us who would be interested. I should imagine a few of us would be very interested in this so I am asking for your views and comments on this idea and to let me know if you wish to take part so I have an idea of numbers [:D]

Thanks folks
