i have a 1986 944 lux and i had a gearbox change recently when i got the car back the speedo did not work
i have covered this in another thread but i recently cleaned up the speedo drive 3 pin plug as advised from other threads and it did not work straight away but 24 hours later everything was fine
it worked well for a few weeks but every now and then it stopped or the needle on the speedo flapped about a bit
and now its packed up all together
am i on the right track regarding the plug/connector if so does anyone have a spare used one they can sell me or maybe a part number
many thanks

I had mine cleaned and refitted, it gave up again soon afterwards. Sender was about £70 IIRC, and should last 20 years. A used one will be just that, used and about to fail.

I have a good one here that was only a couple of years old, have the receipt for it as part of the service history, £15 posted to you!
