I want to buy this 928 as a weekend car, the odd day to work if need be.
Its in liverpool and i am in Manchester so very close.
I know it is very high miles but its a low owner car and very well serviced.
Anybody know this 928 or been to look at it.
Should i bite the bullet or not any advice most welcome.
Anybody want to take a look at it with me i will pay for your time.
Cheers.

I had the same choice 6 months ago, a cheep 1986 928 s2 I originally brought it thinking that if the worst came I could break it and sell the parts. Luckily except for a few problems has been good. Driving it alone is worth it they are great cars. If you are not sure you can get it fully checked out at a speciallist to see what is wrong. Just check when the cam belt was changed and if the water pump was done at the same time don't rely on milage as age is more important. There is a lot of information on buying 928's at 928.org and some great links to american web sites with loads of info. I think for that price for a s4 it is worth at look at for sure. I hope this helps.
