Advice on External Car Covers

I am looking for advice and recommendations on external car covers for my 981 Boxster please?

Has anyone had a good experience with a particular make or retailer?

Does anyone have a second hand one in good condition that they wish to sell?

Any help much appreciated.

I have always used ‘Classic Additions’ for my covers for Boxsters, 911’s and several MG’s.

They are good quality, excellent fit and long lasting. Well recommended.

I’d recommend the Club shop outdoor covers - particularly the ‘stretch’ fit one (better than it sounds!)... take a look[:)]

I have just got a Classic Additions half hood today, £48 including delivery. Fits perfectly, the stretchy straps work well and seems good quality.

I’ve been using a cover by Specialist Covers for the last 18 months on a Boxster. Not the cheapest cover but it’s tailor made and works really well. No signs of wear etc so far.

My 987 Boxter lives outside and I bought a Classic Additions cover last year at the classic car event in Birmingham. It fits well and does the job. I use the cover in the Winter months. The only downside is that, if you want to use the car in Winter, there's cleaning to be done before you recover it,
