Advice on Warranty selection

Dear members
Looking at renewing the Warranty on my 997.2 Turbo PDK Cab, after the 2yr warranty provided by the dealer is coming to an end.
Any thoughts on which 3rd party Warranty Companies to consider would be appreciated - also great to get an idea of the premiums you are paying.
Clearly switching to a O.P. Warranty is a possibility.

All thoughts and suggestions welcomed. Thank you in advance.
Paul

Thanks for your thoughts.
Interested in experiences outside of Porsche Warranty also, as at some point soon (beyond the cars 15th birthday) I am going to have to go to an independent anyway.

Have only `looked into` Warranty Wise as a comparison, beware the small print - conditions - limitations e.g. maximum labour rates are well below that of Porsche and Specialists

Is there a policy that simply works with minimum and maximum claim values per annum and cuts out all the approved repair shop, labour rates stuff? Items claimed would have to be approved but beyond that "simples”

I agree with Scrounger. This question crops up quite a lot and the consensus is that the Porsche Warranty is the best and is well priced. IMO it’s not worth shopping anround until you have to.

Not done enough research yet, was looking at WW for a daughter`s car ... it was similar to Porsche pricing for a mundane VAG hatchback !

I guess when the cars reach 14yrs old, everyone will be required to shop around for a 3rd pty warranty or risk running without.
