Advice please!

Hi all,
I could do with a little advice.
I am interested in a 996 GT3 (I know that there is a GT3 section but there does not appear to be much activity on there - hence my using the generic 996 section).

I am looking to p/x my 54 plate Carrera 2 for the same year GT3.
Does anyone know this car YJ54JYD in yellow? I have been on the DVLA site and the details look fine and the last hpi check looks clear.
It appears to have had several upgrades including RS clutch, breaks and front and rear body kit.
I'm a little unsure as my knowledge of this model is rather slim (to say the least). I'm up to speed on the C2's and S models but could do with some help on the GT3.
It is on sale at a "dealership" but they appear to be a small indy set up that does not specialise in sports cars etc.
Anyway if the moderators feel that this is on the wrong thread I'm sure that they will move it.
Many thanks
Steve

Steve, Although I'm not a GT3 owner myself, since it's a more specialised vehicle I'd seriously recommend that you get it checked out by an Indi with experience of the marque before you purchase. Depending upon your location, someone like RPM Technik perhaps? Jeff
